Non è una novità quella che vede Peter Hook coverizzare la sua band d’origine – i Joy Division, se fosse davvero il caso di sottolinearlo – con i “The Lights”. Bene, il mese prossimo l’ex Bassista dei Joy Division si prodigherà nella riproposizione in sede live del catalogo completo della band che vide Ian Curtis come Frontman. Dunque non solo Unknown Pleasures e Closer (Che verranno ripresi nella altre date già annunciate). La location prestabilita sarà una chiesa di Macclesfield appartenente al 18° secolo. La chiesa, ubicata nella città di Cheshire, non è stata scelta a caso; si tratterebbe infatti dello stesso edificio in cui si formò la band.
Il comunicato parla di una “Riproposizione dell’intero catalogo” . Contenente anche “Still” e altri B-sides. La performance s’intitolerà “So This Is Permanence” titolo tratto direttamente dal testo di “Twenty Four Hours”
