A settembre Anders Trentemøller rilascerà il suo quarto album intitolato Fixion.

Il disco è il logico successore del precedente Lost, uscito nel 2013, un album che per molti aspetti è riuscito a catturare l’esperienza viscerale che Trentemøller e la sua band ripropongono nei live. Se Lost era costruito su trame dall’aspetto classicamente tetro e cinematografico, Fixion abbraccerà la malinconia, marchio di fabbrica dell’artista danese, per modellarla all’interno di visioni atmosferiche, cupe e romantiche.

Il primo singolo estratto dall’album, River In Me, uscirà il 24 giugno e vedrà la collaborazione di Jehnny Beth delle Savages alla voce. Il brano sarà accompagnato anche da un video diretto dal regista svedese Åsa Riton e l’artista svedese Andreas Emenius.

‘I’ve been a huge Savages fan since their debut record…I met their producer Johnny Hostile at a festival in Paris and ended up inviting him to support us on our tour. Jehnny actually tagged along for some of the dates. Afterwards, he dropped me a line and asked me to mix the next Savages record ‘Adore Life’. Jehnny, Johnny and I built a real friendship in the process so it felt right to ask her to sing on my album. She has this really intense and unique voice and it ended up being really challenging, and fun, to take that voice out of the Savages’ universe and into mine.’
