Alla foltissima schiera dei gruppi che si riuniscono ecco spuntare anche i Pulp. Per la gioia di tutti gli amanti di quel brit pop rock molto personale ed elegante, il gruppo di Jarvis Cocker annuncia a sorpresa che terrà alcune date nel 2011 (due quelle sicure: 27 maggio a Barcellona e 3 luglio a Londra). La line up sarà quella originale (Cocker, Doyle, Mackey, Senior, Webber).
Potrebbe partire da qui la solita (e sacrosanta) tirata sul valore di certe reunion. Invece dall’alto della sua grandissima ironia il gruppo anticipa tutti e sul loro sito ufficiale (www.pulppeople.com) non si vede altro che una slideshow con bellissime foto corredate dalle domande esistenziali che ognuno (musicisti e pubblico) dovrebbe (o potrebbe) farsi di fronte a notizie del genere (e che ognuno trovi le sue proprie risposte):
